They certainly seem to work very well without being tested.for my ears. I’ve had a fair amount of feedback and am still trying to get the correct cup for my ear. I love that there is no tube to deal with; wearing sunglasses, a mask and the tube from my old hearing aid was a major problem. Not anymore. Hoping that I will get the right fit soon
